Some people and especially media, associate terrorists with Islam. I think that this is a completely wrong view. Islam from my point of view is a religion of peace. What do you think? The so called Islamic terrorists don't represent Islam. Islam doesn't permit killing of innocents. Whats your opinion?

I don't think it's 'some' people; I think it's a huge number of people, especially in the West, which has been under attack from Islamic terrorists on a number of occasions: 9/11, the London Underground bombings, the Spanish train bombs, and so on. These were all done by Islamic terrorists. It isn't just the media. The media merely reports what Islamic terrorists do.
I think it's time we stopped claiming that Islam is a religion of peace, and saw it for what it truly is: a religion that desires to make all other people submit to it, whether they want to or not. At present we are in a war between the civilised West and the forces of Islam, who for the third or fourth time in history are trying to bring other nations under their power.

Then what about all the people killed in iraq and afghanistan due to the american invasion. in iraq alone it amounted to over 650,000 innocent lives. The main for invading Iraq according to president Bush was pocession of weopans of mass destruction(WMD'S) but now since it's widely known that WMD's never existed, now he says that he want to liibereate Iraq, this clearly shows that there's some foul play here. So why did Bush invade iraq in the first place? I think I won't get an answer for this. What makes you think that Islam isn't a religon if peace? Just because some people kill innocents and claim that there're muslims doesn't necessarily mean that they're real muslims. You also say Islam forces others to become a muslim, based on what are you saying this? Who exactly do you mean by forces of Islam? no innnocent killer represents Islam, this is against basic faith. Do you mean to say that the west is the only place that is civilised? How can you say this? Remember this, one doesn't become a muslim by wearing a cap or growing some beard, you first have follow what Allah(God) has said and it's not permitted to kill innocents.

I meant to add: you say that Islam doesn't permit the killing of innocents. Yet the people killed in 9/11, the people killed in the London underground bombings and the people killed in the Spanish train wrecks were all innocent. The people killed daily in Baghdad and other places in Iraq are innocent. If Islam doesn't permit killing of innocents, what religion do these people really belong to?

those who r doing this act, they r barbaric, ruthless and mean politicians... there is no solid proof whatsoever to blame tat Muslim did the act.
its the Media stereotype they rooted this belief in everyone's mind by showing the falling twin tower and Osama simultaneously. even today BBC says 'Osama - PRIME SUSPECT' there is no evidence that HE did it.
every time before the election comes, Bush brings out a new video tape of Osama... its an amazing situation...

I don't think many people associate terrorism with Islam or any other religion. Personally, where I come from, the media doesn't media associates terrorism with Islam.
There will always be stupid people who do associate terrorism with Islam but that is an exteme minority.

If Islam doesn't permit the killing of innocents, why do so many terrorists and jihadists and their supporters invoke Allah and the Koran when they kill inncoent people? Why is it the least tolerant and most violent religion, in general, today? I mean, you can keep saying that terrorists aren't real Muslims, but that doesnt change the fact that so many of them think that way and believe it is part of Islam.

Hmm... I think they didn't mean to kill the innocents (it's unintentional, unavoidable), but since the oppsites start the war first so their actions (moslems) may be included as self-defense. Yes, it's already happened so we can't cahange the image of Islam in an instant, let the time does it...

They may not represent Islam officially, but the sure do unofficially. Think of Islam or Muslim these days, and you think of terror. People no longer remember the good things the Muslim people have given the world: they look at the mess several Muslim nations are in and wonder what these people are up to. They seem to have an inbuilt hatred for themselves.
As for hoping that things will automatically disappear - don't hold your breath. This situation isn't going to change without conflict.
