Hi there, I was wondering if anyone participates in online surveys. Do you actually get paid, and how much? I keep hearing about people doing the online surveys but I don't know if which ones to do, or which ones actually pay. Anyone that participates in these and has some answers for me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

There really are a lot of them out there that really do pay. I work with several and have been paid many times by them. I also recieve products to try out and get paid for doing that. I have participated in a few focus groups and these pay well. Check out my blog and at the bottom you will find a list of the survey sites that I use.

Actually, I have located 5 of them that are honest and for real. There are probably more, but this is what I have located so far. You aren't going to get rich doing them. But some do pay very well. I just participated in a survey for children's underwear, they sent me 6 pairs and my son had to wear them in a certain order and I had to give them feedback. All in all it probably took 15 minutes of my time. They paid me $2.00 for the intial survey for them to dertermine if I qualified and then paid me $20 when I completed the second survey. I have done a few like that! Gotta love when those checks come in. I have probably made $250 in the past year with surveys, possibly more, and I could have made a lot more if I answered every survey that they sent me! Good luck.

Yes you certainly can make money from doing on-line surveys. The amount paid is'nt usually very much but it adds up over the year. There are many sites listed here www.amylynn.org and scams are listed too, so its just really a matter of personal choice and or trial and error

From experience, surveys are a waste of time.
Everytime I completed a survey it said "You have now been entered into a draw to win $10,000" or I get credited with 20 points (20 points= 5 cents).
Been there....stopped doing it.... stopped wasting my time!

Good luck!

I participate in one site that sends me at least 1 survey a month and they pay me $5 per survey, you get your money within 5 days of doing the survey, not much but usually won't take more than 15 minutes of you time. From time to time they send you products to test.

A genuine company for surveys etc. is You Gov. The results of their surveys are often published in national newspapers. The money isn't great but they are secure and are quoted on the London Stock Exchange.
They want people in UK, USA and the Middle East only. Their link is: http://www.yougov.com/users/registrationintro_ref.asp?refid=123651&jID=3&sID=1
