Which webpage format is better PHP or HTML

PHP is not a web visualization language it is a server side language just like ASP, ASP.NET, Perl, ColdFusion, etc. PHP has no ability to control the visualization of the web, PHP cant change a color of a text, cant change a font style, cant change a font size etc. HTML is the standard visualization of web page it has an ability to control every element of a webpage but it has no ability to make a connection to a server, HTML only control the visualization of the page So You cant compare Between PHP and HTML because it is clearly different. if this is only the matter of page visualization PHP cant do nothin with it. HTML is the root of Php. AM I right? Without it php cant go alone. Html is easier to learn and it is suitable for any type of websites. php is an advaned language and is not good for newbie. One can start easily with html while php cannot. more php is more based on databases. HTML gives the structure, php maintains it! HTML is the hero of websites!!

AS most of the questions, the answer is : It depends. First they are not self-excludent, you can have both. If all you need is a "static" webpage, with a fixed content, let us say, like a Page where you put the name of your company, e-mail and telephone (I know, by today standards it is a lame example), all you need is HTML. If you need a page with some kind of "operations" (like a dinamically constructed page, a cms system), then go with php. It always depend on the final desired result.

The comparison you are trying to make is not the best. a site made in php is constructed on the HTML structure. HTML is the base, php make it to be generated dinamicly... And you should see that PHP is better
