I am looking to Join Animal Rescue Orgs

Is there any animal rescue orginizations out there I can join for free? I would love to help save abused and misstreated animals. Also If ther is any wildlife preservation orginizations I would like to join them too.

Maybe the best is to seek over the web about the location, seeing where you live you will know where is closer to you and that might be the factor to you continue to work there for a long time.
I worked in an ong little far from home, when I didn't have a job couldn't continue.
