I had an alsatian dog named rana. We had him with us since he was 1 month old. He was 7 years old when he passed away a couple of weeks back. It seems he was poisoned at our farm house. His memories are haunting me. Every time i come home i feel as if he is barking and jumping behind the doors to greet me. Its so gloomy and quiet without him. he used to wake me uo in the morning at 6.00. I never needed an alarm clock when he was there. The thought of his cute antics like getting into the bed and snuggling up to me after waking me up inthe morning makes me miserable. We both were attached to each other. the worst part is at the time of his death we werent besides him as before his death we had shifted him to our farm house for a couple of days as some work was going on at our house. That makes me even more sadder. Please people with similar loses sahre their experience and tell me ways to cope up with it.

You might want to think about getting another pet, you will never nbe able to replace your Ranab but you might be able to give a loney dog a new home maybe take a wonder to your local animal shelter, i'm sure the right one will pick you.

Oh honey, I'm so sorry for your loss.
I lost my kitty last May. He was 19 and I had had him for 8 years. He was a loving and loyal companion to me and outlasted many a boyfriend. Something that helped me through was this lovely website www.rainbowsbridge.com where I could create a wonderful personalized online tribute to my Jazz. It is a place where you can commiserate with other pet owners going through the same experience of loss.
