I know it's a silly question, but what do u like the most about your mother ??? I love it that my mother is a strong person and a fighter and that she'll never give up till she'll get what she wants, that's how I've been raised and for that I'm thankfull, so thank u mom :-)

My mom and my dad never fought in front of us. If he ticked her off she would walk out of the room until they could stop being angry with each other. I never heard them yell at each other and hardly ever at my brothers or myself. She never thought that was something a kid should have to witness. When I was a little girl she taught me that it was okay to be strong and defend myself, and it was still okay if I faltered and needed help. But only lately I've been able to start learning from her that it's okay to lose a fight.

I was 18 when cancer took my mom away from me. I'm 35 now and a mother myself. Despite the years gone by, I could still remember my mom vividly. She was a great writer and painter. Very strong-willed and independent. Never afraid of anything and will do everything for her family. That's how I described my mom to my 2 children.

I'm very sorry for your loss, my mom also lost hers for cancer when she was 17 years old and she still remembers her after 35 years and shares her great memories and time they spent together, so it's very important to share and to tell your children what a great grandmother they had, keep it up :-)

My mother is such a strong person who always puts family the top of her list. Being willing to sacrifice so much just to make sure everyone is well provided for, she'd work real hard and make sure all her efforts harvest nothing less than success. I owe so much to her, I know I owe it to my children to do the same for them also.

I admire my mom for being faithful, loving and forgiving. Although my father cheated on her countless times, she remained faithful to him. She puts family above all things. She is true to her words and she keeps her promises. She teaches by example. I take her being strict and nagger as a demonstration of her genuine love for us. She loves me no matter what. I am proud to say that what I am now is how she molded me. I love my mom.

I love the fact that my mom is always right, (even when she is wrong.) LOL She taught us to believe in ourselves and to fight for what we want and believe in. I am 43 and my mom is still my best cheerleader. For years I had struggled and scraped by and got into bad relationships. When I told her I had met someone over the internet (Yahoo MS Support group...different story) she supported my descisions to try this relationship. I have the best life now. A man who loves me and a mom who loves us both. 'Every' day is mother's Day as far as I am concerned.
