I'm planning my garden now, as it needs to be competely landscaped. I recently decided that I would plant all edible fruits and vegetables. I may include a few flowers, but only ones that can be cut for indoor arrangements.
I don;t see the point in working so hard to have a manicured flower garden. If I want it to be a nice place to be, I would add a few plants of choice and let it grow wild.

I consider having a home garden as a must. I am sure that my vegetables are healthy being grown chemical free and fresh since I pick them just before cooking time. I plant some fruit trees too, because I find them better tasting since I am sure the fruits are picked at the right time for harvesting.

I love my garden. There is nothing like a tomato sandwhich with a fresh tomato picked just that day. I try to have as large as a garden as I can but we have limited space. Im hoping our next house will have a large garden area where we can have our own small farm.
