How often do you buy sneakers, and how many pairs? How about washing them?

I'd have to say I buy 3 sneakers every year. 1 sports, 1 comfy, 1 nice pair kindof. Right now they are Puma, Nike Airforce1's, and Echo sneakers.
Does anyone here wash their sneakers?
Other than soccer cleats I hate washing them..

I actually don't wear sneakers. I only wear dress shoes and boots. I shine my boots every once in awhile, though.
