do new born babes hear

When my brothers child was two weeks old after delivery i kept saying that he will be very hansome. And that his character will be good. That he will be a cam kid. Very dicent in all things. Some years has passed and all the things i have said have come to pass. Do there actually hear us whe we talk to them at that age.

Yes it has been proven medically with test and such that they hear as newborns and infnts. I bet your a proud uncle. They hear us but dont remember all thats said at tha age.
