It was one of the most rewarding things i have ever done. I was asked by my youth pastor Jeff, to volunteer at this camp named Cedar Crest(a christian camp located near big bear, california) two years ago. Helping these junior highers taught me so much. It brought back memories of who i was when i was that young and it made me reflect and think who i am today. Junior Highers go through alot. These are the years where we start to become who we are. We find out what bands we like, what type of friends we enjoy being with, etc. I learned that no matter how young a person is, they are just as complex as adults. If you are ever given the opportunity to serve kids or teens, i would strongly advise you to do it. Just give it a shot.
