Why do people steal topics from other fourms?

Some people do this just to make extra money faster than coming up with thier own topics.

Hey there. This is "kcsmiles" over on dormcheck! ;) I am glad you posted this. It really pissed me off when someone showed this to me. It was GREENGAL who let me know...and I want to PUBLICLY thank her! ;) I have and still am reporting this person. He is now copying things on the internet... You can tell he's copying and pasting because he's been a member for 1 month and already has over 1100 posts!? Plus he's posting a new topic every 30 seconds or less...

I dont know why they do that. it is wrong for them to do it and I hope you reported over on dormcheck also.

Because they are selfish...they care only about themselves and what a discussion will get them. Because they lack the intelligence to use their own words. Because they are not creative enough to come up with their own ideas. Because they are too lazy to even try to be creative. And with your report, I hope that person is banned!!!

I would say they lack creativity because they cannot come up with their own ideas. Oh they can steal from others but come up with their own is almost impossible. They don't care about how others feel or the work others have put into things. They just want to make their money even if they have to rob someone else to do it.

Becky, that is a rotten thing for someone to do, obviously they liked your questions or they would not not have done it, they also are lazy people that figured they would not have gotten caught. The internet is so anonymous, I wonder what they are like as people. I am glad you reported them, I wonder what if anything will happen to them.

I wondered that myself. I thought I have seen some same topics here as on Dormcheck. I can understand how someone might have a similar or same title but to have the entire question and topic word for word is stealing and wrong. Have not been on dormcheck this week and have no idea what qiuselong is.

Now this puts a whole new spin on the whole cheating thing. If they take our topics from here and post them at dormcheck, we'll never know it. I don't have time to add another forum, so I guess if they need the money that bad... Feel free to report anything that you think they stole from here! Some of these people are so greedy and pathetic. Don't they have any pride at all?

Some people do it because they are lazy or just don't care. Perhaps they can't think of anything to post themselves.

Simple, they want to cheat the system in order to earn the most money they can in the shortest amount of time, with the least amount of work. It's pretty sad, isn't it?

i think they steal discussions because they cant come up their own discussions themselves..they steal them so that they wont think of discussions to post..easy money is what they want..

There are so many of these members here who are too lazy too write their own posts, and they think that they will get away with it. The truth is that they might get away with it for a while, but eventually they are caught and their posts are reported and deleted. I hope that everyone who sees plagiarized posts, no matter where they are stolen from is reporting them to myLot so that they can take the appropriate actions.
