Who picks the movie?

When your going to rent a movie or go to the cinema who usually chooses the movie... I usually let my hubby choose because I know he won't like what I would want to see and I like just about anything.. If there is something I really want to see my teenage daughter and I usually go or rent it when he's not home..

We choose together to make sure we find something we BOTH like, or we don't go. Actually, we rarely go to the movies because it's expensive (to me) and we usually like to see movies that will enrich our lives... and most movies are just entertainment, they don't go beyond that. My husband won't spend money on something that doens't make his life better.

I agree that most movies are purely entertainment and it bugs me sometimes. Because, like you and your husband, me and my girlfriend enjoy movies that have a strong statement about life or issues in the world. The type of movies that entertain while educating. I also enjoy the type of movies that are artistic and really different from the movies that are rushed out to make as much money as possible. You can tell when a movie is trying hard to be "cool".

I do the picking because it will be me who will do the paying. =) I always go to movie rental shops alone, so I get to choose the titles with any objections. =)

well...it depends..i let my man to choose the movie that we are about to see becouse i allways want him to feel good.
and by looking at a movie choosed by me...its a lil hard for him to feel good becouse e dosent like the action movies...

My husband and I usually agree on the same kinds of movies, but sometimes I will watch something with him even if I am not interested in it and he will watch mine too. We rent Netflix movies and we let our daiughter choose a movie she would like to see because most of the ones she picks, is not something my husband and I want to really watch.

sometimes i do the picking what movie we were going to see..but when we were at the booth she picks another movie..then we always goes for the coin..we toss coin ffor what movie are we going to see...nice one do you think??

We both decide on what we are going ot see. It is such a waste of money if we go see something he likes and I wno't and vice versa. Mst of the movie that come out are junk as it is, why waste even more money on a movie that only one person wants to see.
