I have three children two boys and one girl. At what age do you think you should talk about protection with them and do you think it is different for boys and girls. Did your parents tell you the ways to be safe?

You should talk about contraception at the same time you talk about puberty and what to expect. It is unreasonable to withold this information until the child begins to dtae because it might be too little too late. Contraception should be incorporated as one of the new responsbilities of post-pubescent life.
