Would you advice your friend to see her Ex-Bf for the last time?

I received an online message from my friend, she told me that his ex-boyfriend just passed away. As far as I remember, we were talking about him last time.
To give you a brief background of their relationship. They are much inlove until my friend found out that the guy had a one night stand with the other girl. Unfortunately the girl got pregnant. They ended their relationship that way.
And now, to our surprise, his ex died in a car accident... Actually, she is aking me if it is ok to visit and see him for the last time.
I told her that it is better to end up without regrets. I mean, if she feels like going home just to see his ex, do it... even if it means spending a 10hours travel going home...
If you were in the same situation, would you do the same?

I honsetly do not see why she would even hesitate to pay her respects to someone she once loved.He made a mistake in their relationship and paid for it.That does not mean she lost all feelings for him or his family.I am glad you suggested she do so and hope that all goes well for the family.

I don't want her to regret it. It is still good to see someone you have loved, especially in his case, but I am also aware that she might get hurt... I am helping her by just praying...

his ex's family loves my friend so much. But I am not sure if she is also welcome there now, knowing that the wife is there... She is really hurting right now... =(

I think it could bring some closure to your friend. Sounds like she still very much loves her ex and by her going to his grave she can let out her grief and possibly some old feelings that she has been hanging onto since they broke up. Though it will be entirely up to her to decide to go. I wish the best for your friend.

you're right.. but its still easier said than done... I hope it will become as easy as that. She is thinkng about his ex's wife...
