How Long Did It Take To Get 550 Points

I registered three months ago, so I guess it must have taken a month to reach 550 points. However, I had a couple of weeks holidays and I was also very slow in the beginning. I think I as gettin a little faster now, so I hope I will reach 2000 very soon.

That does, of course, depend on what you do. Some people might take months and some only a week. It would seem you get one point for one response to a discussion and one point for one comment in a discussion. To get a point for a response or a comment, you need to give a proper response, not just a few words. I do not think you get points for anything else, but you do get paid for other things. When you reach 100 points, you will receive a star with a number in the centre. The number will show your rating with the myLot community. Each '+' you receive and each 'best response' you receive will help that rating.

Each discussion, response, comment or photo upload counts as one point.
