What do you want most out of life?

My life all that I want is my health to improve as recently it was discovered that I had sugar diabeties, it is rather bad as it was not picked up early, but I have been doing the right thing and taking my medication so all that I want is to be rid of this horrible illness

I don't really know what hapiness is. There are times that I thought my life would be perfect if I had a psp, xbox, ipod and macbook. But actually these are only material things, we are not sure if these are going to last a lifetime and if we will still love them for our lifetime. After all it's the memories that makes me smile throughout the day. Overall, I guess I love my life. Whatever I have right now I am ok with it. I have a loving family, friends, boyfriend, enemies, problems, scars, tears, smiles. I had them all and this makes my life the most.

I don't want to live near the beach. I always want to live on mountains or near the mountains because I always like to do hiking and climbing high mountains. My childhood years were spent living on mountains and how I miss them because we have moved to the city for greener pasture.

I always wanted to be married and have a lot of children and have a happy big family. I do have all of that and it DOES make me very happy. But once we started having children I realized that what I had really wanted was a daughter. I think I always just assumed I'd have one so I never really thought about that as a "want". Instead though we have five sons and our family is now complete so I will not ever have a daughter. It has taken a long time for me to reach a place where I can honestly say it's okay. Not getting what I wanted has brought me greater appreciation for the things that I have and the whole mystery fo life in general. Basically it has made me very philosophical and taught me to just STOP wanting things and just enjoy life as it comes.

I once wanted a house on the beach until the hurricanes blew thru Orlando a couple of years ago. I think I would house somewhere woodsy and vacation on the beach. I think that would make me pretty happy. I find the beach very relaxing.

Jan--I think everyone just wants to have a great life. Its great that you just take whats thrown at you. Most people become extremely perturbed or upset. personally i just want to be happy!!

I like to achieve happiness through success, which in turn comes from hardwork, honesty and perfection in whatever I do.
