Which one is the fastest processor avialable in the market?

I think the fastest as of the moment are Intel's quadcore CPUs. I haven't been able to use one yet but they say they are really fast proccessors. I really hope AMD releases their own quadcore CPUs. =)

Intel has launched the Quad Core Series of Processors which is available in Both Desktop and Server Rage For Desktops it is Core 2 Quad and for Servers it is Xeon Quad Core. Similarly AMD has also launched Quad Core Series of processors
