Are you so addicted to your computer that you will actually go get your food and then return to your computer so that you can type while you eat?
Do you share more meals with your computer than your friends or family?
If you are guilty of this, tell me why.

I am very guilty of this. And why.?. Becuase I make my living with my computer so at times it requires that I eat right here at my desk if I am going to be here for that extra dollar.

Yes. Sometimes i even eat heavy food while using computer. But that is only when i am at home. When i'm at the office, i usally eat the titbits only, because my boss will sure get angry if he see me eating while working..

I can not believe how many people do this!
The internet has opened up a whole new world
and people will sit at their computers as long as their backsides can handle it. Even while having a meal!
I'm glad it's not just me!

I don't think I'm on here as much as some though.

I eat 85% of my meals with my computer, I would go as far to say i eat many meals with family, friends, relatives, and the work computer. The 15% is when im on the road.

If you eat 85 percent with your pc and 15 on the road, when do you eat with your family?
I would quit spelling out "percent" but we had a pepsi accident and now my 5 on the top row sticks!

Raises hand and lowers head in shame. I'm one of those. I will often sit here and eat while I type away at something or talk with someone on line. I know I'm horrible and deserve to receive 50 lashes from a wet noodle.
Usually we are all eating at different times though so no one really minds. Or when we do eat at the same time the others will sit not too far from and watch TV so no biggie to me being on here. We've tried the whole sitting at the table thing and it's nice now and then but over all we're just not comfortable with it.

you know how much it cost me to have that built for you!!??"

The only time that my keyboard took a pepsi bath was when my niece spilled some on it.
Other than that, I feel that until I spill I can do as I please. Besides, it's not like it was the tower!

ok, i admit it. there are times when im completely glued to my computer that i eat in front of it. but im always careful of my drinks. i never put it anywhere near my computer, or in any place that i may accidentally bump it and make the liquid spill.
sometimes i share meals with my family, but its not that often. my sleeping habit's quite peculiar that most of the time i am asleep when they are awake.

I have a similar discussion going since my niece
spilled pepsi on my keyboard.
I need cleaning help and a lot of people have been kind enough to lend some advice.

BUSTED!
I see nothing wrong with a snack at the pc
as long as the keys don't get greasy.
With popcorn though, do you have a napkin
or do you wipe your hands on your jeans before
you type?

Oh well. Actually you're right.
Eating and sitting still all day is a bad combination.

Actually it's a bad habit and it slowly makes you gain weight over time. You don't really realize it straight away but eventually those calories will start adding up. Oh, I'm sounding like a health teacher right now.

In this case, you can say I am an "ex-convict" to this issue. I wonder how I could still use my computer and be having a hot bowl of noodles as well. Anyway, I gave up that habit as I realised that it is not good. Besides, one cannot concentrate on effectiveness at the computer while eating the same time.

What a silly questin, of course I do. I have a laptop, I spend more time with it then I do anybody other then my dogs.
Why not, it is always there for me, it likes me, it always want to play the same music I want to hear. We have a perfect relationship.
And you caught me crimson fisted- I was eating popcorn and drinking propel...I forgot to eat dinner tonight.
We live different shift. the other 1/2 works a swing shift. He gets to bed about an hour before I get up. He wakes up and goes to work to study for a fw hours before work. He comes home I am in bed.
We actually see each other about 3 days a month, did I mention we never fight?

I suppose that could be considered the perfect relationship. You aren't lonely. Obviously. No fighting....
that sounds good too!

No, I only eat sunflower seeds and drink frappuchinos when I am on the computer. It is probably bad enough that I have cat hairs in my keyboard, much less worrying about food in there too. Ha! When my husband comes home from work, I make sure I get up from the computer to at least tell him hello and ask how his day went.
