Do you ever think there will be world peace?

It's sounds like everyday when you turn your tv or radio on all you hear about is death and suffering by mankind. Every region of the world, including here in america, there is alot of bloodshed going on everywhere. Here in america we have 75 people murdered everyday in gang killings, but the world only hears about the deaths in Iraqi and other places. It seems like the violence thats going on know around the world are products of generations of people not getting along with eachother. Almost every major conflict in the world has roots that are well in place in there respective cultures. It's easy to blame america and it's alleys for the violence thats around right now. But do you think If there was not a america or a few other countries like britian, that there will be world peace? I think history will show there has always been violent acts of man in the past, and the future will be the same. What do you think? I would like to hear about what you think and If there is any solution you think that will help the world to be a more peaceful place?
