These puzzles are on lateral thinking. Lateral thinking means making a mental knight's move. To solve this puzzle you must come at them from an unexpected angle. Discard the obvious, leave behind traditional modes of thoughts, and throw out all preconceptions. The ans wer will be in your grasp. Think about it......... 1. David and Sarah's children are Peter, George, Robin, Chris, derek ans Sam. If Peter has a sister-in-law called Clare, can you deduce Who Clare is married to?? 2. A scientist claims to have invented a unique machine that allows him to disapper for an hour, then re-emerge at exactly the same point in space one hour later. He has not tried it out yet, but is keen to do so. Why would he be ill-advised to try the machine out?? 3. A married 14 different people during this course of a day. How is that possible?? 4. The 60th and 62nd prime ministers of Great Britain had the same mother and father but were not brothers. How come?? More of these and many other kind of puzzles on www.puzzelworld.blogspot.com Have a look at it...............

I cant be bothered doing them all, but is the second one because he was in an aeroplane when he was about to go into the machine and so if he re-appeared in the same space he would be in the middle of the air and so fall to the ground?
