Why do people got addicted with dota?

It is so frustrating. My husband goes home at early morning or dawn becuase he is playing dota. I have also played dota but i can't find it exciting. Why you guys keep on playing this game? It's nothing. You're earning nothing. You waste money, time and effort.

i can understand your husband. im a dota addict myself. we also play almost every night, me and my work buddies. we play till almost upto 2am. its really addicting to play when you have friends playing with you, its really fun to annoy your friends especially if you win the match. don't worry, it will pass. for now, i think i can play almost every hero in dota, so that is when it gets boring.

But the problem is the developers always create a new character and feature. I just hope he would consider us.

I think dota is far from your favourite games. Yes people wasting times etc, its like smoking, if you dont like smoke, you will have no idea why people like it.
so for how long does your husband start playing dota? 3 months?
i began to bored after 4 months. My friends too. Try to talk to your husband again, making an agreement, such as, only play dota in friday or saturday only. My friends also make this kind of arrengement, every friday night, we play dota from night till dawn about 8 hours. That's more better than playing dota for 4 hours every day

it is a game warcraft. DOTA means Defense of the Ancient. You have an enemy and you are a hero you help your village to fight the enemy.
