encourage or discourage

this is a very relative question. Different people think differntly. likewise differnt people are motivated by different things. Some people like encouragement. It helps them work harder and better to please the people who encouraged him and to meet his own increased level of expectation. On the other hand some people take discouragement as an motivating factor to prove that he or she is not a loser. For me both work. It depends on the incident and situation.

It is encouragement right from the beginning that a man receives makes him reach newer heights.
