I love our dog Bonnie, and she's very intelligent. She likes to cuddle up to all of my family members, and she cries when she knows it's time to eat and she hasn't received any food. She has the run of the house when she's freshly bathed, and even sits next to me when I'm watching TV. However, what's undesirable with us is when she pees or dirties the floor. Naturally we get mad, and I hate to see her miserable when she gets scolded for that. Are your dogs properly housebroken? What tricks/techniques can you advise to properly train your dog?

Hi there...we used a crate training technique to help housebreak the dog because it kept having accidents (both defecate and urinate). Dogs do not like to soil where they sleep and this method is very effective at training them as well as us to learn when they need to go and alleviate themselves as well. Additionally, crate training is wonderful to give dogs a place to retreat since they are naturally den animals.
You can learn more about how to crate train dogs from the following website:

Hi, and thanks for the great tip! I saw in your profile that you like cats, but I guess training methods are still the same for domestic animals, whether they be dog or cat. :) Thanks also for the web reference, I'm sure it's going to be very useful for me.

Hi there again...I primarily train exotic cats, however I am by defination an animal trainer so the techniques we employ vary from species, but the basic fundamentals are the same when training all animals.
I hope the crate training will be very helpful for you!

then i did not listen to her.
my dog is "crying".when she needs to go out.
she is also crying when she wants food or water.
