there are siome instances when i end up driving after a long hard day at work and i'm so sleepy that i can barely stay awake. i scream at the top of my lungs, turn up the music, or if i really can't stand it anymore, pull over somewhere safe and take a quick cat nap. what do you do?

The last time I experienced a sleepy driver, I was in a taxi and what I did in our entire trip to my house I talked to him and told him stories even a non-sense stories just to keep him wake. Hahaha we even debated regarding politics like hello garci tape... but the good thing was our blood heat up during our debate and that keeps him awake. :)

Hmmm...I guess you should just take a cab...I just take a cab because I fall asleep when I am travelling or better yet drink coffee first before you leave. My husband drinks coffee when he is so sleepy to drive..It boosts him up a bit.Try it.

I just open the windows really wide, so that there is a lot of fresh air coming in, to try and keep me awake. I tend to put singalong music on too, so that I can sing with it.

I make myself sing along with the music, or recite something from a book aloud. If it is really bad, I will pullover (preferably at a rest stop or something) and get out of the car and run around for awhile. I've tried taking a nap, but as soon as I stop the car, I'm no longer sleepy!

I just had to add that I would be reciting something that I had MEMORIZED from a book! I don't want you to think I'm driving around both sleepy AND trying to read while driving. ;-)

lol yeah reading from a book would be just as dangerous as driving sleepy, thanks for the advise :-)
