Yesterday I started a discussion titled "Tell me about the hardest thing you ever had to do." It was a difficult subject, but received a lot of terrific replies, that were actually quite uplifting in learning of the courage and bravery so many of you displayed through some very tough life situations, like losing a loved one to death or break-ups, illnesses, addictions, giving up a child for adoption amongst so many others. Thank you very much to everyone who responded.
I now would like to change the subject to one that might be a lot easier to respond to, tell me about time when you were happy......
I have had many happy times, thankfully more often than bad. One fond memory is of being a kid and spending time with my Grandpa in Sothern Florida, the warm sunshine, the smell of salt air, and walking hand-in-hand with my Grandpa collecting little treasures like sea shells on the beach ...those memories are of a happy time in my life when all the world was new and everything I did was a great big adventure!

The happiest moment in my life was when I learned I passed the board examination for teachers. The exam was hard and I thought I wouldn't pass. It was two years ago, but it was still fresh to me. My husband first learned about it in the newspaper (I was too unbelieving). He went to our bedroom and I was sleeping too much out of depression and frustration because I knew that any moment then, the results would've come out. He encircled my name and said, "I am very proud of you." I cried and we had the best breakfast ever!!

I was 7 years old and at my grandparent house on their back porch swing. My grandfather was swinging me holding me, and singing "Rock a Bye baby" I sooo happy. I loved them so much and this will always be a memory of happiness for me, for the man never sang to anyone else. It meant the world to me, to be held at age when your mother says your are to big to be held. I loved and still do. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Walking my puppy with my dad for hours whenever he had time when I was about 7, we would go to the beach and play for hours with balls and sticke etc, I can remember him walking on his hands and jumping over breakwaters, doing flick flacks and dancing around just for the fun of it with me an mickey running amd laughing and barking alongside.
After wards we would go home and there'd be freshbaked bread and cheese or sausage egg and chips.
Mum would look at my shells and pebbles and put them in the garden.
Sometimes we would go on our bikes.

Those memories were in the past and they seem very distant now. Life is full of the good and bad and thats the fact of life.

I believe that the most happiest time in my life was when i had my three children. Sure labor and delivery was hard, but it was all worth it.

I have many happy moments in my life. But the two memories or moments that I have is the best that I could ever had. I'm so happy when I got married to my husband and the best of all, when I born my first daughter in this world. That's the happiest moment that I have.
