I listen to contemporary Christian music. My favorites are Sierra, Third Day and Jars of Clay. I used to be a fan of Stephen Chapman as well but he seemed to hit his peak a few year back and his music has gotten a bit repetitive. Acapella is a great group, especially if you like a slightly more gospel feel and it is amazing what they can do just with their own voices.

I like to listen to the Acapella. I love to listen to Christian music without the musical instruments used. We use acapella during worship services, we do not have musical instruments in our worship place.

Acapella is awsome! God gave us the beautiful gift of voice. Mine needs improvement...But with our Lord's help...it's getting better!
We do have instruments in our church. It's a big group. Three of our members have a group outside of church called The Latin Jazz Group. They started playing years ago, and through one, the other two came to know God and now play for only for HIM.

I could go on about this subject forever. I love many Christian music groups including Watermark, Selah, Sonicflood, Avalon, FFH (my favorite) Audio Adrenaline, the Newsboys, and Go Fish. If you have kids you really should check out Go Fish. They make great kids music that won't drive grownups crazy.

My favorite song right now is "Come To Jesus" by Mindy Smith. I really like John Pantry. He plays beautiful piano and sings, but he's from the U.K. I think (and I'm here in the U.S.) and I can't find his CD's. Though maybe I should search again.

...two other favorite songs are "If I Was Jesus" (! a real good one!)by Toby Keith (country singer) and "Jesus Is Coming" by John Eddie. Even Bob Dylan did a born again album, back in the late 70's I think it was, I think it was called "Saved" but I'm not sure, the best song was "Gotta Serve Somebody".

Yes, I like Toby Mac, Grits, Jars of Clay, POD (sometimes) and Superchic[k]. I agree with respondant #1 about Stephan Curtis Chapman. I used to like him, but his style is pretty static and I don't listen to him as much anymore, though I do have a couple of his albums.

Thanks. POD actually started in San Diego and still plays regularly here. A lot of those that I mentioned are rap, punk or R & B. Superchic and Chapman are more mainstream.

No wonder! I'm from south Texas and rap or punk isn't too popular here. But, if it is to Glorify God and bring young people to Jesus, then Praise God!

I listen to Christian music more than any other. In my car there are 4 buttons to program stations #1 Family Life Radio, #2 Spring Arbor University station (christian college in our town started by our church), other 2 are "my son's" but when he gets out of the car he always puts the radio back on one of "mom's" stations.
My favorite CD is Ray Boltz I love all the songs on it but my top two I would say are "Roar" and "In the Potter's Field"

I think it's awsome that you have two stations available. We only have one station, Radio Manantial. But it is primarily spanish music. I have to go online to look for music. Will look for Ray Boltz. Thanks for responding.

Yes, i love Christian music! I love writing songs for God as well. My inpirations include Hillsong Australia (and London), Matt Redman, Tommy Walker, Don Moen, Christ for the Nations Institute (CFNI), Jaci Velasquez, Sonicflood, and much more. Music is one of the ways I listen to God coz I know that its one of His ways of speaking to us through the songwriters/singers. And its wonderful to be singing praises to Him! :)

asking what my favorite christian music to choose is the hardest thing to do. cause there something about each and every song that can speak to you and say just the one thing you want to tell god right at that moment.
i have so many favorites but the one i listen to every single day would have to be "Joann Rosario" i love love love
glory to god
praise you jesus
