I have been participating for few open forums which were similar to mylot and I notice one thing that make mylot difference from other forums.Members here were very friendly, well manners and very helpful and as a results lots of members here become a real friends at last.Personally I think mylot was somehow creates a very own and difference cultural compare to other forums/communities.Eg, majority of the members here will express their thanks/appreciates to those who responses to his/her discussions which I don't see much in other places. How many of you did discover the same thing as I do? What do you think were the reasons that make mylot so difference?

Yeah mylot is the best forum as here i have enjoyed myself posting and replying quality discussions. Like members on mylot are very friendly and helpful. On mylot forum i have had healthy interaction of views with other mylot members, have sought and got advice, and helped other members out too. Besides i have made some good friends too. It is very nice community of people who are are very active on this site and everyone on this site is unique and brings something new to the site as members on this site are from different culutres, countries and bring different perspectives which makes mylot so special. And yes mylot also pays us for doing something that we all, really like.

WHAT MAKES IT SO DIFFERENT?
Lot of things make mylot different from others.
1. It is quite user friendly
2. Not many rules and whatever rules are there they are simple to follow
3. Facilities are more compared to other sites
4. Prompt payment
5. One can earn money for every activity here.

I think you have a poinbt there. Mylot users are quite frindly and there is a sense of order here. Also, the negative rating concept checks a lot of excesses. The fresh look of mylot makes it differernt from your everyday forum, and it helps us enjoy the experience.

Mylot is better then other forums, because it never get's boring. Every few minutes their is a new topic posted, and their are aways some good ones deserving a response. Not only that their aren't many flammers here, plus mylot offers money for posting. Unlike other forums.

i have to agree with you...i've joined payposter and duno.com but though i felt that they pay much better (used to, that is!) than myLot (which is why i joined in the first place) but somehow, someway, i can't really get used to the setting at both websites. Unfortunately, i've gotten so used to myLot settings that it's very hard for me to accept others LOL. Furthermore, all those nice friends in myLot are priceless...though i've been really busy recently, that i no longer thanks people for responding...that's why i have not start any discussion for a long long time :D

It probably has started the image of only good and quality postings and commitments from there has been established nowadays. People are going to forum discussions to learn more from others, and share their common interest as well, thereby with mylot unique approach in maintaining these trend there is no doubt about earning this popularity and making the "difference".

The guidelines were definitely a big help to better manage the overall quality of the community. In fact members here were having very good and high qualities even long before the guidelines been introduces last year. Thats really great! Thanks for your respond to my discussions.

I think you've made a great point there. It's true, most of the members here at mylot are very accepting of everyone's opinion. Even if they disagree, they do so in a tactful manner. Most people here are very friendly, it has made this a different type of site. I love mylot!

I am usually just so happy someone responds I don't have the heart to respond in a negative manner. I think the rating system, desire to make a little money and lets face it an older crowd of posters adds to the sense of community.

I still think money is the deciding factor, though it is precious little, I have to say. :P
