I am seeking help from a certain generation with this quest. Does anyone remember seeing a circus Act in Britain (Edinburgh, particularly) in 1954/55 during which an elephant 'drove' a suitably scaled/modified car? This topic is important to me to prove I'm not losing my marbles. Ideally the person/people who agree with me will be able to send me link and or pics - Thanx muchly.
