LCD: Like Could it exploDe

My monitor makes a popping every once and again. Could it expode in my face? Of course we would be hella rich then, but I would look hidious. The makers better hope if it does that I die.

LMAO, thats funny... but the reason I am responding to this is because I am curious as well, mine makes a popping noise, occasionally also as did the one that finally burned out on me.. but with no fan fare it did not explode and my face is still safe.I will watch this thread and see if you get any answers as to what causes the noise.:))
