resoect or love?

you can give your respect to somebody without actually giving your love. - I am agree with this, how about you?

Respect for olders. Love for same age and youngers. And I love those i respect, and respect those whom i love. So i think both are overlapping. Without one, other can't exist.

They are overlapping, but here is an example, there are some teachers whom you don't love because of their attitude, but because you are a student, you are going to follow them because of respect to them as teachers not because you love them and you are happy doing it. Good day always.

But, there are times we have to love our teachers, depends on their traits and character. hehehe.

Great....now you given a good example after thinking vertically as well as horizontally. So ithink, we only respect most of the teachers.

Love is a term that has been used too generally. I do not think love and respect can be seperate. Respect is a small aspect of love. So if you respect someone, there is a small part of love present.

Not totally, respect is different from love. There are times you are doing something because of respect not of love.
