In highschool I took part in the play "The Music Man" and there was a part where a boy with a lisp ran around looking for a girl named for a flower "Amaryllis" t was a point in the play where the audience got to laugh. I always wondered what an Amaryillis was and looked like. It turns out to be a very tall stemmed plant with a large flower that looks kind of like a trillium. I uploaded 3 pictures I took this morning, but I don't know how to add them to a discussion, so I left them in my upload area. This is Linda's plant hat she got 4 years ago and she has got it to make a flower several times. I do not know how long someone can keep doing that, but she keeps on re-planting it outside and each year she gets a pretty set of flowers.
Does anyone know anything about bulbs and gardening in general? I would like more information because I am doubling the size of my garden this year.
