Should Euthanasia be legalized

When a doctor says he has done everything he could and tells you it won't be right to put her through this intolerable pain do you still keep the faith that things will get better or your love for the person makes you feel you should pull the plug ? Do you think euthanasia should be legalised or is it immoral for anyone to decide whether someone else has had enough ? I will never be able to make a call on behalf of someone I love.How about you ?

I have an older dog. Thankfully he has always been a very healthy dog and only goes to the vet for his shots and checkups. I dread the day something like having to put him to sleep happens. I hope when he goes he goes in his sleep with no pain. If i had to put him down, I wouldnt be able to see it. I just dont know how i could handle something like that.
