What are the ingredients to make a forever love story?

We can find couples that are happy together for 25, 30 or more years. What is their secret? What ingredients, in your opinion, are necessary to make love lasts forever?

I'm working a 18 year relationship and I think it starts getting up in the levels of respecting each other. Personal and together time. If older couples were asked, I think they would probably they've all had their doubts, it is just to easy to get divorced these days. He sneezed the wrong way, she snores to loud, he won't stop cheating, oops, did I say that, and I was really trying my best to be serious.
