the other day my hubby came charging home that i told one of his work colleagues that i was his mum..and he got very upset with me..i told him i never ever said that..and he kept insisting on it..i was really upset..not for him only having a go at me but by believing his work colleague over me..someone also that has no scruples and lies and cheats on his wife! what he does in his personal life is his business..i got upset with being accused firstly of something i hadn't done..and secondly of his putting his work coleague over me..when he knows that i would tell him the truth.. he ofcourse then confronted his work coleague who in the end owned up that i had never said that..and he later apologised.. does that tick you off being accused for nothing?

While I never used to care about what people accused me of doing, I was once held responsible for something that was beyond my control. Without going into details, just know that this happened when I was serving in the Forces and I was the highest ranking officer present when the 'incident' occurred. So I took the blame. Unjustly. And I sufferd for it. Ever since, I've been mad at people accusing me of something I was completely innocent of. So yes, I'm easily flying off the handle when accused for nothing.

I've made my share of mistakes over the years, so I don't need anyone blaming me for things I haven't done. Of course it upsets me. I think it upsets everyone to some degree. I know that when my ex used to accuse me of things I hadn't done, it used to upset me very much, especially when he would take someone else's word over mine.

Not very much, because I'm near constantly accused of something I didn't do. And I find that staying calm and being confident in the fact that their accusations are false seems to unnerve the accusers, and usually helps convince others observing the conversation of my innocence. I can annoy me sometimes, but I usually keep my cool.

One of the biggest things that I absolutely hate more than anything ... being accused of doing something that I DIDN'T do! Right along with saying that I said something that I didn't say (same thing?). I think we all say and do enough that we can be blamed for, so we sure as heck don't need to be accused of something we did NOT do (or say).
