My friend went to jail a week ago. He called me and one other friend. We want to get him out but also want to know if the wife can help. He was driving drunk and when he got there they found out that he had two bench warrants, one for child support in another county. we called his wife and she cussed us out and told us to mind our business. right now he only has to finish out 3 weeks but stands a chance at losing his job. Should we get him out or leave him there? Obviously his wife has no intention on doing anything because hes still there. And the fact that another kid is involved that she did not know about is hurting her im sure.

i would leave his butt in jail, because of his child support.you can pay his bail but they will come an arrest him again for the 2 bench warrants,so you will also lose your money.an he is not learning anything if you get him out of jail...save your money! dont get him out

Leave him there. That's his problem and now he has a lesson to learn.

I won't bail anyone out for driving drunk. A drunk driver killed my best friend. I also wouldn't bail someone out for failure to pay child support. A drunk in public or a misunderstanding or even a bar fight i'd help get my friend out, but driving drunk or not supporting their child - on your own!
