What are some of the main reason people get divorced?

I think,a lot of times..people stop communicating...they forget to talk to each other.

There are many reasons y people get divorced. One of them is misunderstanding or lack of undrstanding, lack of time, communication, their careers, ego, n all n alll....

many things lead to divorce.yes lack of understanding... You pick the wrong person because you don't put everything on the table. Anything that bothers you about the relationship must be brought up for discussion. Bringing up the uncomfortable stuff is the only way to evaluate how well the two of you communicate, negotiate, and work together. Over the course of a lifetime, difficulties will inevitably arise. You need to know now, before making a commitment: Can you resolve your differences and find compromises that work for both of you? Never be afraid to let the person know what bothers you. This is also a way for you to test how vulnerable you can be with this person. If you can't be vulnerable, you can't be intimate. The two go hand in hand.

Lack of understanding is also correct and one more thing is ego problem. I feel beoz of these two most of them will get divorced.

I have seen it happen for numerous reasons...physical abuse,the dominate person is a control freak,deaths of children,lack of finances,loss of work...too many reasons nowadays to mention.Sad but true. :(
