If you want to start a website you should go for a content site with content that isn't already all over the web, so you want to pick a subject that you could talk about all day long. Creating a site that is content based can give you a lot of free search engine traffic and that can mean good earnings. These is really tuff question when u have no idea clear in your mind regarding the choice of website...My advice would be purely go by ur instincts...before that u need to categorize urself first..whether ur profession ,intermediate,or completely novice with this website-building.... 1...If ur professional go for something sophisticated ..i mean the intellectual readers should be attracted to ur website and should be very professionalism such as some reasearch topics,discoveries,modern buisness trends,strategies for good buisness and marketing and stuff like that.... 2..If ur intermediate then go for normal stuff like how to manage ur buisness which would attract simple youth people and their lifestyles such as places to shop,best music stores, all online music and purchases, all gift shops and their locations and such stuff... 3..If ur really novie one then go for something which attracts ur mind or topic that comes to ur mind immediately...for example as ur hometown and all the information regarding it ..ur life...why u like it... and stuff...it should be jsut single idea spanned across severla pages... i don't know exactly what to advice you about, but i think the most important thing , is to make its colours harmonized and atractive, it will be the best way to keep the people reading, don't use banners that is hurts the eye, and i think the contents is according to you
