What is your views on living with a boyfriend/girlfirend.

My girlfriend and I are planning on moving in together. We are not married and don't plan to be for a few years at least. Many people have told me that living together is hard and an easy way to ruin your relationship. I have heard nearly no good feedback about moving in together. Could it really be that bad? What does everyone else think about two 20 year olds living together in an apartment?

I think you 2 should live together before getting married. It shows you what the person's faults are and what you need to work on as a couple. I lived with my husband before we got married and I'm glad we did.

in my opinion it could be a good thing. i mean your going to move in together after marriage right? the only way your going to know is just do it. its hard for anyone to live together regardless if your married or not. actually in my opinion its pretty much the same. you'll have to pay bills and learn to compromise on things that any household hold as to do. all in all i think you should do what ya'll see is good. nobody can tell you whats best for you once you've reached a certain age. and at 20 i think yall what you want. dont let anyone tell you your making a big mistake. think of it this way if you listen to them you could end up unhappy. i say do what you want and i wish both of you the best

Thank you. Your way of talking makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, hehehe. I feel confident that we could live together and be happy. I am glad that responses here are all positive so far, as opposed to everyone in my life being negative about it.

lol i wont quote you on the warm and fuzzy inside thing lol but anyways i believe yall will be just fine. just dont let people like that get to you, i know thats going to be hard but trust me its ya'lls life not theirs so i hope ya'll have the happiest life ever and prove them wrong :)
