Can you open a paypal account without a checking account? / myLot

In the USA will they just send you a check or do you need to have a checking account? Just checking incase my hubby can't use same paypal account for MYLOT.

I dont have a checking account and I do have paypal. I opened it without a checking account. I love paypal because I can use it to pay for many online things. You can also get a debit card from them after you have been with paypal for a few months.

Paypal does have an option to send you a check if thats what you want. I usually just buy things online or use my debit card at the stores. I think they charge a fee for sending a check but its not that much.

You can open a paypal account with out a checking account. It will just be a normal paypal and not a verified account. I think that is the only difference.

They can send you a check. If you want to get money out of atm I think you need to be a verify user. To be a verify user, you need a checking account or a credit card.
