A more interesting question would be who is the second best Oiler ever. Still I think the BEST question you could ask is who the 3rd best Oiler is ever. You'd get answers ranging from Ryan Smyth to Jari Kurri.

On this day in 1999 Wayne Gretzky was traded and he cried and so did a lot of other fans. Today, he is a rich man not only with money but with fame and a nice family. Good for him!

Wayne Gretzky, hands down. He is the best player to play the game, and his amazing talent will be remembered for ever. He did things for the game of hockey and the oiler organization that no other player will/can ever do.

Well to put it simply, I think he is the best all time player to ever play in the NHL or the world for that matter, so I guess my answer is yes.

OFcourse Wayne Gretzky was the best oiler no doubt! He's the greatest hockey player there was! But hey, new kids are comin up to the NHL. sid, Ovechkin... who knows, they could take his place. After Wayne, I think Messier was the greatest oiler. What does everyone think about the team this year?
