What the heck is going on in Singur? Every other day, CPI(M) and other Left Parties are heard accusing Ms Mamta Banerjee and her co-party-workers of making matters worse at the Singur scenario. Trinamool and other Opposition Parties retaliate by staging bandhs, dharnas, protest marches and the like. What's the resultant outcome? A lathicarge by the state police on the protesting common masses of Singur and the news corrospondents present thereby and reinforcement of IPC Rule 144 at Singur by the West Bengal government. Who are the ultimate ones to bear the blow? Again, the common masses of Singur and the neighbouring areas.
