I recently got hold a small yet very useful software from "download.com". I don't know how many of you use this software, but I would surely like to reccommend this to all those of you who surf the internet. It's called "McAfee SiteAdvisor Plus" and is a real gem of a software. It indicates which websites are virus prone, which ones are adware/spyware/malware prone and which ones are just spammy. There are 3 levels of alerts- Green, Yellow and Red. It allows only Green websites to be visited. It has an inbuilt password-protection-and-locking protocol that enables you to lock the access to Red and Yellow sites using the SiteAdvisor. Whenever you search for a site on Google,say, it marks each search result as Red, Yellow or, Greeen and accordingly, accesses to the sites are either allowed or, blocked. So from now on, you can browse the internet without the fear of unknowingly stepping into a malacious website. Any intrusion into your system by unscrupulous programs are thus prevented to great extent. Hence, Happy Browsing!!!
