How much did you spend on your wedding?

Hubby and I are planning a wedding for our 6th anniversary. We eloped originally and always wanted to have a real wedding type thing. However we are broke college students with children so funds are quite limited lol. On the plus side I don't have traditional tastes and want something small and unique. I'm having a problem finding a good venue since it will not be at a church. So how much did you spend on your wedding? Did you go all out, no expense spared or did you hunt for every possible way to save money? Were you happy with the outcome?

We eloped, too!
Sorry I can't add any more to your discussion, but I wanted to tell you that so many of my friends who have gotten married since then have told me that I made the right decision!
The one reason we might get married "again" would be to let my dad walk me down the aisle.

We are saving for out 10th anniversary and still looking for ideas on how to celebrate it. It will most definitely be in a tropical country but there are so many fun ideas to work with so we haven't decided which one yet.
The anniversary is only 3 yrs from now so we have enough time to think and save. My wedding cost me $ 25,000. It was beautiful Cinderella theme, instead of elope. I wanted to elope since it's cost efficient, we can get married and honeymoon at the same place. But my parents and his thought it wasn't polite so we got the Cinderella party.
