My daughter came down from Edmonton yesturday for a visit and brought her new game system, Wii. We moved the coffee table, she hooked it all up, popped in a game and away we went. We then played baseball, golf, bowling, tried to throw cows long distances, danced with rabbits, and corraled screeching pigs into a pen.
Just when I had been more impressed than ever, she brought out another game system called a Nintendo DS Lite. She has about 5 games for that and I've never seen anything like it before or knew it even existed but I tell you, I gotta get me one of those. The games are so small, I joked about how they resembled a Chiclet. Boy could I ever get my moneys worth out of something like that. I would carry it everywehre with me so I could play it at every available moment. Too bad Christmas has already come and gone. No chance of getting it from Santa and my Birthday is still too far away (can't wait that long) to hope for getting it as a gift. Guess I'll just have to find some way to fit it into my budget. Hmmmmm Have you had the pleasure of playing this system and how much fun did you have? What games did you play? We played Rayman and Wii Sports then Hotel Dusk, Mario Cart and Brain Age.

They have proved extremely popular here in the UK too! There was desperation at Christmas when shops were running low! I have only the nintendo game system which is all I want, because I spend all my time on the internet and don't have time to play games. Enjoy your Wii! I always thought it was a strange name to give to a computer gaming system! I need a wii, well go to the toilet then LOL!

Well, we own an Xbox, but I would really Love to have a WII. Maybe someday I can own one when they are more readily available. But for now I will have to stick with my Compter games and Xbox until the day comes when I can own one.
