I work for a home health agency. We send nurse assistants to clients home. I am having a hard time getting people with clean sled records and no back problems to come in and apply. I even advertise that training is available. To me if I had no job and someone was willing to train me,I would be the first one here applying. One problem I know of is that when we started is was only a few in the same business now it is over 30 companies in our area. We have other office that are doing good. We even broadened out in outer skirt areas. But if I have no applicants then it makes it hard to get new referrals on people that need someone right away. Which means if I can't provide them with a new nurse then they go to another company. Any suggestion on how I can gain more employees.
