Father Uses Stun Gun on Infant

I could not believe this when I read the Associated Press article this morning.
A dad used a 100,000 volt stun gun on his 18 month old infant. Not ONCE, but at least TEN times over a 3 week period. His wife, the child's mother, finally reported him to the authorities and he is now under arrest.
I hope he rots in jail.

I know. I don't even condone useing it on an unruly teen, but an INFANT? What was he THINKING?

This is just sickening. Seriously. These are the types of people who do not deserve to have children. I don't understand what would make a person behave this way. It makes me want to vomit, and cry for the child... I am glad to see that the mother reported him, but why did it take so long???? That is what worries me.

The only valid reason I can think of is; maybe, he was threatening her also. Any other reason is unthinkable and inexcusable!
There is no way that ten times could be considered an accident - it had to be intentional!

I agree completely. There is no excuse. And even if she was being threatened, is not your childs wellbeing to be put in front of your own? Is that not part of what being a parent is all about. It really irritates me when a parent says that they couldn't report someone for abusing their child because they were scared... if you, as an adult were scared, how did our child feel?

That is horrible. I would have reported him after the first use. What was the mother's problem!!! They are both sick, but it should have been reported sooner. But, we have to thank God the child did not die before something was done.

The only reason I can think of for her not reporting him earlier is if he was threatening her too, but the article didn't say anything about that.

This is disgusting! How can parents be so stupid and uncaring to their own children. I really hate people like this! I wonder how they'd like to be on the other end of the abuse? Sick Sick Sick!!!!!

This is one of the things that I can't stand the most is parents hurting their children. I can't believe someone would do that. It just makes me so mad. To imagine hearing those poor little crys from that small child that couldn't defend themselves is horrible. I hope he also rots in jail.

That is the best place for him, especially if they let the other prisoners know WHY he is in prison. A lot of those guys worry about their own families who are outside prison and they would "take care of" jerks like this who could be a danger to little kids.
