Hillary Clinton for President??? Do you think she could do a great job?

She is very smart. But when she saw at first that her campain wouldn't be going anywhere with the number of voters she would have she switched ideals. If she'd do that just to get in, I don't think she'd do a good job running the country. Plus, I'd rather have someone who sticks to their beliefs, that you can see in the past had the same core beliefs. She doesn't. Also, she had enough influence when Bill was in(IMO he isn't all that bright)so she's had enough. But I would love a different woman to run for president though.

No, I don't think she would do a good job representing this country. I agree she is intelligent and capable, but I question her moral character. And that is important to me. It has been argued in the past that it should not matter, but it matters to me. I think the person who represents me as an American should represent American values. The other day she made a comment about the fact that she could not understand Bush's problem talking to bad people. She thinks that the way you get there is ok if you get to where you want to be. I think you have to travel the journey with integrity and follow your personal beliefs. I feel she is willing to compromise her personal beliefs, so what else is she willing to compromise?

I am also a republican. Do I think Hillary would do a good job as president? I am not so sure. I do think she is one smart woman but I don't know about her running the country. Personally, if I had to pick a democrat to support I would choose Obama over Hillary any day. I like how he stand up for his beliefs..even if they aren't the popular beliefs (like his ant-war stance). It doesn't sit well with me that Hillary voted in favor of the war and is now Bush's biggest opponent in that area.
