Ok so I am in 9th grade and have had alot of rude remarks concering my wieght. I dont think I am that big but now more and more people have been saying it. I get it and jog at least 10 minutes now everday and go lift wieghts for abot 30-50 minutes on mondays wednesday and fridays. I do my best to try to lose wieght but nothing seems to help. I am about 5'11 or 6 feet tall and about 210 pounds. Is that to big for my age. I am just realy big, I dont have that much fat, I have done fat tests but I only have like 9-11 percent? How can I make it so I lose some weight fast, and do you think I am overwieght?

You are probably overweight. but like you said, you are really big built.Age has very little to do with weight, height does, Check the government weight charts, You should probably weigh betweem 150 and 180 lbs, though. Your best bet is to go talk to your doctor about your weight worries. Meanwhile, switch soda pop for water or milk, skip those between meal junkfood snacks, and walk an extra mile a day, and you won't need to worry about anything, except how to get the football pads on right. You sound like fullback material to me.

Wow - you are quite tall, but I think your weight is still considered "overweight". But did you know some famous athletes would be considered obese going by height/weight ratios? That's because muscles weigh much more than fat. So building your muscles will not make you lose weight initially and 9-11% fat is not much fat at all! A better gauge is how your clothes fit you. Are you just trying to lose weight because of others' comments or do you actually feel uncomfortable with your size?
