I brought my PC back in January 2001. He has had no upgrades to date, but is definetly looking for one very shortly. The 224 ram just isn't really cutting it these days.

My laptop is exactly seven years old, but still working well. I love it and treat it as my best friend that I spend most time with. I think that it will last another two or three years before getting a new one.

Mine's three years old, and I have a bunch of 6-year-old parts from my first computer that are sitting in my room, along with some newer stuff (within the last two years or so) that I've been lucky enough to receive for free from my parents, etc.

My oldest desktop is 6 years old and it still running smoothly. I can still use it for internet browsing and word processing.

I've had mine for almost three years now without upgrades.
Technically a microchip can stay powered up for 20 years straight, but I heard that a long time ago.
I salvaged an original IBM pc from an office a few years ago. The insides were just one big dust bunny. It must have been used for a decade.
