Can anyone, on a guitar, play master of puppets?

I have tried this many times. I'm just talking about the intro. I can play it but a lot slower lol. It is pretty fast and considering I'm a beginner, I don't think I'm too bad. Well, if you can play this, tell me and if you have any tips please do tell me. Thank you.

i found playing master of puppets really hard in the beginning.now i have mastered the song.i can play the whole song even when you wake me up in the middle of the night with my eyes shut.the same goes for the most of the metallica songs.i have a tribute band here for metallica.we play all the albums of metallica for stage shows.rock on.

Yes, I have heard that many times. I practice a little every night, now to get my finger speed up. I think that it is getting better and better each night too. I hope I can play it really soon and does anyone know the tuning for this song. Like is it Drop d, Standard or others? Can someone help me with that? Thank you for your posts also. :)

Yes, I do, I believe you can play it if practise regularly. You can use a metronome to build your fast.

Yeah, I have tried that and I did get a little bit faster. I did it for a while and my master of puppets playing started getting better. Then, I stopped to do other things that interested me at the time. Now, I have some more tips, I can probably try it again. It is a really cool song and probably really awesome once you can play it.

It can be done. I've been able to play the complete song on an accoustic guitar and it still sounds soooo good. Start with the easy songs and work your way towards the fast ones.
